Terms of service

These terms apply when you use calibrabelts.com or buy from us. Please read them together with our Returns & refunds, Shipping and Privacy policies, which form part of them.

Who we are

This store is run by Calibra Belts. You can reach us at hello@calibrabelts.com.

Orders and when the contract is made

When you place an order, you make an offer to buy. We email you to confirm we've received it. The contract between us is made when we email you that your order has shipped. Until then, we may decline an order: for example, if an item is unavailable, if we can't deliver to your address, if a price or description is obviously wrong, or if we suspect fraud or misuse of our promotions or returns. If we decline, we refund everything you paid.

Prices

Prices are shown in the currency of your market and include VAT where we're required to charge it. Delivery is shown at checkout. For deliveries outside the European Union, import charges may be due on arrival, as explained in our Shipping policy. If a price is obviously wrong, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, and we'll tell you before we do.

Discount codes and offers

Each code or offer has its conditions stated where we offer it. Unless we say otherwise, codes are limited to one per order, can't be combined, and can't be exchanged for cash or applied to past orders. A first-order code is for one first order per person. We may cancel a code, or an order that uses one, if it was obtained or used against its conditions, for example on several accounts.

Our belts

We describe and photograph our belts as accurately as we can. Screens show colours differently. Where a belt is made of leather, variations in grain and tone and small natural marks are part of the material, not faults. Lengths and measurements can vary slightly between pieces.

Our belts are made to be worn. Don't use them to lift, tie, restrain or support weight, or as safety equipment.

Returns and the legal guarantee

You can cancel and return an order within 14 days of delivery, as set out in our Returns & refunds policy. Faulty belts are covered by the legal guarantee that applies where you live. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.

Text messages

If you agree to receive marketing texts from Calibra Belts, we send recurring automated messages about our belts and offers to the number you gave us. Agreeing is never a condition of buying. How often we text varies, and message and data rates may apply. Every message tells you how to stop them; in the United States and Canada, reply STOP to stop and HELP for help. You can also email us. We use your number as described in our Privacy policy.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend an account used for fraud or abuse.

Intellectual property

The text, photographs, videos and designs on this site, and the Calibra name and logo, belong to us or to those who license them to us. Don't copy or reuse them without our written permission.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, for business losses, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, although your right to cancel and be refunded still applies. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer.

This store runs on Shopify

Our store is hosted by Shopify. When you buy here, you buy from Calibra Belts, not from Shopify. Some checkout services, such as Shop Pay, are provided by Shopify under its own terms and privacy policy.

Complaints

Email us first: most things are settled in a reply or two. If we can't resolve a complaint between us, consumers can turn to an alternative dispute resolution body. In Portugal, that includes the Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (CNIACC), www.cniacc.pt. More information is at www.consumidor.gov.pt.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
